Travel Med Surg RN in Overland Park, KS

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care on a 24-bed acute care hospital unit for a 12-week contract in Overland Park, Kansas. The unit uses Meditech charting and averages 6:1 ratios.

• Provide direct care for med-surg patients
• Monitor patient status and report changes
• Manage IV therapy and line care
• Assist with Foley, NG, drain, chest tube, and bladder irrigation care
• Perform wound and ostomy care
• Support dysrhythmia monitoring and EKG review

• Kansas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Prior inpatient acute care experience
• Basic dysrhythmia knowledge

• Trauma center experience
