Travel Med Surg RN in Petoskey, MI

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide inpatient nursing care on a mixed-acuity medical surgical unit in Petoskey, Michigan, for a 13-week contract. The unit serves post-surgical, medical, trauma, stroke, and inpatient hospice patients in a fast-paced hospital setting.

• Assess patients and update individualized plans of care
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Monitor post-surgical and medical patients for changes in condition
• Administer medications and carry out ordered treatments
• Educate patients and families on care needs and recovery
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Support patient safety and quality outcomes on the unit

• Active Michigan Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
