Travel Med Surg RN in Petoskey, MI

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide direct nursing care on a medical surgical unit in an acute care hospital for a 13-week contract in Petoskey, Michigan. The unit serves mixed-acuity patients, including post-surgical, medical, trauma, stroke, and inpatient hospice cases. The setting is fast paced and collaborative.

• Assess patient conditions and update individualized plans of care
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Provide nursing care for post-surgical, medical, trauma, stroke, and hospice patients
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge needs
• Document care and support safe patient outcomes

• Active Michigan Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
