Travel Med Surg RN in Midland, MI

A Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will provide direct nursing care for patients in a hospital medical oncology unit on a 13-week contract in Midland, Michigan. The unit serves patients with cancer diagnoses, medical step-down needs, and general medical overflow.

• Assess patient needs and update the plan of care
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments
• Monitor patients with cancer diagnoses and step-down needs
• Assist with transfers, call lights, and alarm response
• Process provider orders and carry out ordered care
• Coordinate medication changes and order clarifications

• Active Michigan Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
