Travel Med Surg RN in Lancaster, OH

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care on a surgical med surg and PCU unit in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Lancaster, Ohio. The role supports adult patients with medical and surgical needs, including close monitoring, medication administration, treatments, and thorough documentation. Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills are important in this fast-paced setting.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Administer medications and carry out ordered treatments
• Monitor patient status and report important changes
• Educate patients and families throughout the care process
• Document nursing care clearly and accurately
• Delegate appropriate tasks and supervise co-workers
• Maintain needed equipment and supplies for care delivery

• Active Ohio Registered Nurse license
• CPR, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Completion of an accredited nursing program
• 1 year of Registered Nursing experience

• Previous Registered Nursing experience
