Travel Med Surg RN in Kansas City, MO

A Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Kansas City, Missouri. The unit uses Meditech charting and focuses on bedside shift report, hourly rounding, and personal patient connections.

• Provide direct medical-surgical nursing care to adult patients
• Administer IV therapy and support urinary catheter care
• Perform wound care and assist with post-op recovery
• Support trach care, NG tubes, and feeding tubes
• Document care accurately in Meditech
• Use bedside shift report and hourly rounding to track patient needs

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
