Travel Med Surg RN in Kansas City, MO

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care in a 20-bed transplant nephrology unit in Kansas City, Missouri on a 13-week contract. The unit uses Meditech, works with a 1:6 ratio, and has a level 1 trauma designation. Virtual nurse support helps with admissions while bedside nurses care for their patients.

• Deliver med/surg nursing care to transplant nephrology, renal, and dialysis patients
• Monitor patients and respond to changes in condition
• Coordinate care with unit secretaries and patient care technicians
• Support admissions, discharges, and patient education
• Administer and manage treatments within the scope of bedside nursing
• Document care accurately in Meditech

• Active Registered Nurse license in Missouri
• ADN from an accredited nursing program
• BLS certification
• Med/surg nursing skills
• Nephrology, kidney transplant, renal, or dialysis experience
