Travel Med Surg RN in Kansas City, MO

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Kansas City, Missouri. The 20-bed unit serves nephrology and kidney transplant patients, uses Meditech, and works with a 1:6 ratio.

• Provide med-surg care for nephrology and transplant patients
• Monitor renal status and patient response to treatment
• Administer medications and coordinate ordered therapies
• Document nursing care and updates in the charting system
• Collaborate with providers and support staff on daily care
• Educate patients and families on recovery and self-care

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
• Associate Degree in Nursing
• Basic Life Support certification
• Acute care med-surg nursing skills
• Nephrology and kidney transplant patient care experience
