Travel Med Surg RN in Kansas City, MO

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide care in a hospital in Kansas City, Missouri on a 13-week contract. The 20-bed transplant nephrology unit uses Meditech, has 1:6 ratios, and supports Level I trauma care. A virtual nurse completes admissions so bedside nurses can focus on direct patient care.

• Provide Med Surg care for nephrology, renal, dialysis, and kidney transplant patients
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and ongoing nursing interventions
• Support admissions, discharges, and patient education
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Assist with off-unit dialysis coordination and transplant-related care

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
• ADN from an accredited nursing program
• BLS certification
