Travel Med Surg RN in Kansas City, MO

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care on a medical-surgical unit in an acute care hospital for a 13-week contract in Kansas City, Missouri. The 20-bed unit serves renal and transplant nephrology patients, uses Meditech, and works with a 1:6 ratio. A virtual nurse handles admissions, and the setting is designated Level 1 trauma.

• Provide bedside care for med surg, renal, nephrology, and transplant patients
• Monitor assessments, labs, and clinical changes
• Administer medications and coordinate treatments
• Support dialysis-related care and post-transplant recovery needs
• Document care in Meditech
• Collaborate with unit secretaries, techs, and the educator

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
• Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• BLS certification
• Medical-surgical, renal, nephrology, and transplant care skills
