Travel Med Surg RN in Memphis, MO

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide care for medical-surgical patients in a critical access hospital on a 13-week contract in Memphis, Missouri. The unit serves observation, acute, and skilled/swing bed patients and uses Meditech. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess and monitor medical-surgical patients across observation, acute, and skilled/swing bed needs
• Administer medications and carry out ordered treatments
• Coordinate care with therapy, respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and phlebotomy teams
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the charting system
• Educate patients and families on care plans, recovery, and discharge needs
• Support safe care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations

• Missouri or compact Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• 2 years of medical-surgical experience
• Telemetry experience
• Core medical-surgical nursing skills
