Travel Med Surg RN in West Hollywood, CA

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide outpatient oncology care in a radiation department for a 13-week contract in West Hollywood, California. The unit serves adults, sees about 50 patients per day, and uses Epic.

• Start peripheral IVs for adult outpatients
• Provide patient education on treatment and self-care
• Triage patient calls and route concerns
• Perform wound care and wound assessment
• Monitor skin integrity and treatment side effects
• Support oncology-focused outpatient workflow

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 3 years of oncology Registered Nurse experience
• Epic charting experience
• Medical surgical oncology experience
• Peripheral IV, venipuncture, and wound care skills

• OCN and ACLS certifications
• Outpatient oncology or radiation oncology experience
• External beam radiation therapy and IGRT familiarity
• Skin wound care experience and radiation safety precautions
