Travel Med Surg RN in South Carolina

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will care for adult medical-surgical and post-op patients in a hospital unit during a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina. The unit has 48 beds, typical ratios near 1:7, and uses Meditech charting. It is a fast-paced team setting focused on safe discharges and wound, trach, and catheter care.

• Assess medical-surgical and post-op patients and update the care plan
• Administer medications and monitor for changes in condition
• Perform wound care and support dressing changes
• Assist with trach care and I/O catheter care
• Document care accurately in the charting system
• Collaborate with nurses, techs, and providers to support safe discharge planning

• Active South Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Medical-surgical inpatient nursing skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
