Travel Med Surg RN in Kansas City, MO

A Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will provide care on a medical-surgical unit in Kansas City, Missouri for a 13-week contract. The unit uses Meditech and serves post-op, wound care, trach, NG tube, and feeding tube patients with a 1:5 ratio.

• Monitor medical-surgical patients and report changes in condition
• Administer IV therapies and supportive treatments
• Provide wound care and manage dressings
• Assist with foley, external urinary catheter, trach, NG tube, and feeding tube care
• Support post-op recovery and mobility needs
• Document assessments and care in Meditech

• Current Missouri Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Medical-surgical nursing skills
• IV therapy, catheter care, wound care, trach care, NG tube, and feeding tube skills
