Travel Med Surg RN in Kansas City, MO

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care on a transplant nephrology unit in an acute care hospital for a 13-week contract in Kansas City, Missouri. The 20-bed unit uses Meditech and serves nephrology and kidney transplant patients with a 1:6 ratio. Virtual admissions support helps bedside nurses focus on direct care.

• Provide med/surg care for nephrology and kidney transplant patients
• Monitor renal status, labs, and treatment response
• Support off-unit dialysis care and related coordination
• Administer medications and carry out treatment plans
• Document patient care in Meditech
• Respond to changes in condition and escalate concerns promptly

• Active Missouri Registered Nurse license
• ADN
• BLS certification
• Med/surg, nephrology, kidney transplant, renal, and dialysis care skills
