Travel Med Surg RN in Kansas City, MO

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide bedside care on a transplant nephrology unit in an acute care hospital for a 13-week contract in Kansas City, Missouri. The 20-bed unit uses Meditech, follows 1:6 ratios, and cares for kidney transplant and renal patients in a Level 1 trauma setting.

• Provide bedside care for medical-surgical and transplant nephrology patients
• Monitor kidney transplant and renal patients for condition changes
• Administer medications and treatments per orders
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in Meditech
• Collaborate with the care team, including PCTs, the unit secretary, and the educator
• Support admissions, patient education, and discharge planning

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ADN
• Medical-surgical, nephrology, renal, dialysis, and kidney transplant nursing skills
