Travel Med Surg RN in Denton, TX

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Denton, Texas. The unit uses Meditech and cares for adult medical-surgical patients with 1:5-6 ratios.

• Monitor adult medical-surgical patients and report changes in condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and ordered therapies
• Provide care for postoperative general surgery patients
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses in Meditech
• Coordinate care with charge nurses, CNAs, and providers
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge needs

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Acute care medical-surgical nursing experience
• Strong assessment, prioritization, and teamwork skills

• Meditech experience
