Travel Med Surg RN in Denton, TX

A Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Denton, Texas. The unit uses Meditech and typically cares for surgical patients with patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6. Staff work with charge nurses and CNAs in a team-focused environment.

• Assess and monitor medical-surgical patients
• Administer medications and ordered treatments
• Coordinate care with charge nurses and CNAs
• Document assessments and interventions in Meditech
• Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns
• Support patients recovering from surgical procedures

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• Previous Medical-Surgical nursing experience in an acute care setting
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong assessment, communication, and prioritization skills

• Meditech experience
