Travel Med Surg RN in Georgetown, TX

A Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will provide direct care in a medical-surgical unit on a 13-week contract in Georgetown, Texas. The 15-bed unit uses MEDITECH charting, works at a 1:5 ratio, and cares for postoperative and general medical patients.

• Provide direct nursing care for medical-surgical patients
• Monitor vital signs, condition changes, and recovery progress
• Administer medications and support treatment plans
• Assist with postoperative care for orthopedic and general surgery patients
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Collaborate with the care team to coordinate safe discharge planning

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Core med-surg assessment and medication administration skills

• ACLS certification
• Rhythm interpretation experience
• Orthopedic and general surgery experience
