Travel Med Surg RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care on a 13-week contract in Austin, Texas. The unit has 32 beds, uses Meditech, and serves surgical, transplant, dialysis, and diabetic patients.

• Provide direct care for medical-surgical patients
• Monitor patient status and report changes promptly
• Administer medications and carry out treatment plans
• Support surgical and transplant care as needed
• Document care accurately in Meditech
• Collaborate with charge staff and the care team

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• Medical-surgical experience
• BLS
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Transplant patient experience
• Dialysis patient experience
• Diabetic patient experience
• ACLS
