Travel Med Surg RN in Georgetown, TX

A Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will provide inpatient nursing care in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Georgetown, Texas. The unit has 14 beds, a 1:5 patient ratio, and MEDITECH charting.

• Assess and monitor medical-surgical patients
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Assist with bronchoscopy and endoscopy procedures
• Support recovery and discharge teaching
• Use infusion pumps and document care in MEDITECH

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Strong assessment, communication, and prioritization skills

• ACLS certification
• Rhythm interpretation
