Travel Med Surg RN in Georgetown, TX

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will care for adult medical-surgical patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Georgetown, Texas. The 14-bed unit uses Meditech and maintains 1:5 patient ratios.

• Assess medical-surgical patients and update care plans
• Administer medications and carry out ordered treatments
• Monitor patient status and report changes promptly
• Coordinate care with providers and the care team
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses in Meditech
• Assist with preparation and recovery for bronchoscopies and endoscopy procedures

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Strong medical-surgical assessment and medication administration skills

• ACLS certification
• Rhythm interpretation
