Travel Med Surg RN in Denton, TX

A Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will provide direct care for adult patients in an acute care hospital unit during a 13-week contract in Denton, Texas. The 43-bed unit uses Meditech charting and typically maintains 1:5 to 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratios.

• Deliver direct care to medical-surgical patients
• Assess patient status and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as ordered
• Support postoperative recovery and routine surgical care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in Meditech
• Coordinate care with the charge nurse, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• Recent medical-surgical experience in an acute care setting
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong assessment, prioritization, and communication skills

• Meditech charting experience
