Travel Maternal-Newborn RN in Seattle, WA

A Travel Maternal-Newborn Registered Nurse will provide postpartum and couplet care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Seattle, Washington. The unit serves a large-volume, high-census population with high-risk obstetric patients and uses Epic.

• Provide postpartum care for mothers and newborns after vaginal and cesarean delivery
• Monitor couplets, including fundus, lochia and perineum assessments
• Administer magnesium sulfate and Pitocin as ordered
• Support care for postpartum hemorrhage and substance withdrawal
• Assist with cesarean section and episiotomy or incision care
• Document patient care in Epic

• Washington Registered Nurse license or active compact license
• BLS and NRP
• 2 years of high-acuity postpartum experience
• High-risk obstetric care experience
• Magnesium sulfate therapy experience
• Epic charting experience
