Travel Maternal-Newborn RN in Seattle, WA

A Travel Maternal-Newborn Registered Nurse will provide postpartum care for high-risk obstetric patients in a high-volume hospital unit on a 26-week contract in Seattle, Washington. The unit serves a diverse postpartum population and uses Epic.

• Assess postpartum mothers and newborns after delivery
• Monitor magnesium sulfate and oxytocin therapy
• Manage care for high-risk obstetric postpartum patients
• Support couplet care during maternal recovery and newborn transition
• Perform fundal, lochia, perineal, and incision care
• Respond to postpartum hemorrhage and substance withdrawal concerns

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• NRP certification
• 2 years of high-acuity postpartum or high-risk obstetric experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nursing program
