Travel Maternal-Newborn RN in Seattle, WA

A Travel Maternal-Newborn Registered Nurse will provide postpartum and couplet care in a hospital for a 26-week contract in Seattle, Washington. First-time travelers are welcome. The unit serves high-risk obstetric patients, has a diverse population, and uses Epic charting.

• Manage postpartum assessments and couplet care
• Monitor high-risk obstetric recovery and maternal-newborn status
• Administer ordered medications and therapies
• Respond to postpartum hemorrhage and other changes in condition
• Support vaginal and cesarean recovery with incision and fundal care
• Educate patients on newborn care, feeding, and discharge needs

• Washington Registered Nurse license or active compact license
• BLS and NRP certification
• 2 years of postpartum or high-risk obstetric experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Magnesium sulfate therapy, Pitocin, Foley, postpartum hemorrhage, and substance withdrawal care

• JADA experience
