Travel Maternal-Newborn RN in Seattle, WA

A Travel Maternal-Newborn Registered Nurse will provide postpartum and couplet care in an acute care hospital for a 26-week contract in Seattle, Washington. The unit serves high-risk obstetric patients in a large-volume, high-census setting with Epic charting and a diverse patient population.

• Monitor postpartum recovery after vaginal and cesarean delivery
• Assess fundus, lochia, perineum, and incision status
• Administer magnesium sulfate, oxytocin, and related medications
• Support care for high-risk obstetric patients and substance withdrawal
• Respond to postpartum hemorrhage and escalating changes in condition
• Document patient care in Epic
• Assist with newborn and couplet care needs

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• BLS and NRP
• 2 years of postpartum or high-acuity high-risk obstetric experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Skills in magnesium sulfate therapy, oxytocin, cesarean recovery, and postpartum assessment

• JADA experience
