Travel Maternal-Newborn RN in Seattle, WA

A Travel Maternal-Newborn Registered Nurse will care for postpartum and couplet care patients in a hospital on a 26 week contract in Seattle, Washington. The unit serves high-risk obstetric patients, a diverse population, and uses Epic charting.

• Assess postpartum and couplet care patients after delivery
• Monitor high-risk obstetric mothers and newborns for changing conditions
• Administer magnesium sulfate, Pitocin, and other ordered therapies
• Support vaginal and cesarean recovery with fundus, lochia, incision, and episiotomy care
• Respond to postpartum hemorrhage and substance withdrawal needs
• Document care in Epic and coordinate with support services

• Active Washington Registered Nurse license or compact license
• BLS and NRP certifications
• 2 years of postpartum or high-risk obstetric experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Magnesium sulfate, Pitocin, Foley, and postpartum hemorrhage care
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
