Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Winfield, KS

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide obstetric and newborn care in a critical access hospital on a 13-week contract in Winfield, Kansas. The unit serves neonates, infants, adolescents, and adults and uses Centricity.

• Assess obstetrical patients and triage labor concerns
• Monitor fetal status with EFM, NSTs, and internal monitoring
• Assist with sterile exams, vaginal births, and cesarean recovery
• Provide care during high-risk labor, postpartum recovery, and newborn transition
• Administer IV medications, fluids, and blood products as ordered
• Support breastfeeding education, newborn care, and discharge teaching

• Kansas or compact Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP
• 2 years of labor and delivery experience
• Prior travel experience

• Cervical cerclage care
• Previous charge experience
• Community hospital experience
• Centricity charting system experience
