Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Overland Park, KS

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide intrapartum and recovery care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Overland Park, Kansas. The unit has 13 beds plus 3 triage beds, follows AWHONN 1:1 labor and recovery ratios, and uses CPN/GE charting.

• Provide labor, recovery, and antepartum nursing care
• Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean births
• Prepare equipment and rooms for delivery procedures
• Document assessments, care, and interventions in the EMR
• Collaborate with the care team to support safe outcomes

• Active Kansas Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong fetal monitoring and bedside assessment skills

• OR circulation for cesarean births
• Assisting with newborn delivery
• Antepartum care experience
