Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Wichita, KS

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care in a birthing center unit on a 13-week contract in Wichita, Kansas. The unit has 29 beds, cares for high-risk pregnancies and gynecologic patients, and uses Meditech and CPN charting. Typical ratios are 4:1 to 6:1.

• Monitor laboring, postpartum, and gynecologic patients
• Assist with fetal monitoring and NSTs
• Support care for high-risk pregnancies and complications
• Provide recovery care after gynecologic and urogynecologic surgery
• Care for postpartum complications and NICU mothers
• Obtain vital signs and point-of-care glucose checks

• 1 year of current Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse experience
• Current Kansas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• AWHONN and NRP certifications

• OB experience
• Med-surg experience
• GYN experience
