Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Pratt, KS

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care for obstetric patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Pratt, Kansas. It serves neonates, infants, and adults, uses Perigen charting, and works at a 1:2-3 ratio. First-time travelers are welcome, and the hospital is a Level 4 trauma teaching facility.

• Provide antepartum, labor, postpartum, and newborn care
• Monitor fetal and maternal status and respond to changes
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Administer IV therapy, medications, and blood products as ordered
• Support breastfeeding, thermoregulation, and infant transition
• Document care and coordinate with the care team
• Educate parents on discharge and infant care

• Active Kansas or compact Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of postpartum experience
• ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, BLS, and NRP certifications
• Perigen charting experience
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program
