Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Wichita, KS

A Travel RN Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will care for labor and postpartum patients in a hospital labor and delivery unit on a 13-week contract in Wichita, Kansas. The unit has 20 beds, serves postpartum couplets and labor patients, and uses Meditech and CPN charting. Ratios are 3-4:1 for couplets and 1-2:1 for labor patients.

• Assess laboring and postpartum patients
• Monitor fetal and maternal status
• Assist with inductions, AROM, IUPC, and Doppler monitoring
• Circulate cesarean sections and support operative deliveries
• Administer medications and support pain management
• Document care in Meditech and CPN
• Collaborate with the charge nurse and care team

• Current Kansas Registered Nurse license
• 1-year current experience as an L&D Registered Nurse
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Postpartum experience
• High-risk LDR experience
