Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Wichita, KS

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide patient care in a hospital birth unit in Wichita, Kansas for a 13-week contract. The 20-bed unit cares for postpartum couplets and labor patients, uses Meditech and CPN charting, and supports labor, delivery, and recovery care.

• Assess laboring and postpartum patients and monitor fetal and maternal status
• Support inductions, AROM, IUPC placement, DFM, and Doppler monitoring
• Circulate C-sections and assist with operative birth workflows
• Provide care for postpartum couplets and newborn transition
• Document care accurately in the electronic record
• Collaborate with charge staff, scrub staff, and the care team

• Kansas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
• 1 year of current Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse experience

• Postpartum experience
• High-risk labor and delivery experience
