Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Los Angeles, CA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care in a labor and delivery unit at an acute care hospital for a 13-week contract in Los Angeles, California. The unit handles about 100 to 300 births per month and cares for labor, antepartum, and high-risk obstetric patients.

• Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor and delivery
• Support labor management, deliveries, and recovery care
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered
• Collaborate with obstetric providers and the care team
• Educate patients and families on labor, birth, and postpartum care
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the chart

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Advanced, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications
• 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience

• FHM experience
• C-EFM certification
• Antepartum and high-risk antepartum experience
• LDRP, Level I Nursery, and Mother/Baby experience
