Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Paoli, IN

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care in a critical access hospital OB unit on a 13-week contract in Paoli, Indiana. The unit serves neonates and couplets at a 1:2 ratio, uses Cerner charting, and includes a Level 1 nursery and Level 1 OB/delivery setting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Triage obstetrical patients
• Monitor labor progress, fetal status, and couplets
• Assist with deliveries, sterile exams, and IV starts
• Circulate for C-sections and support external versions
• Provide nursery care for newborns
• Document care in Cerner

• Indiana Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation Program, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
• 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Triage, sterile vaginal exam, sterile speculum exam, and IV start skills
• Community-level Labor and Delivery experience

• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring
• LDRP, nursery, and critical access hospital experience
• Circulating for C-section and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Cerner charting system experience
