Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Lafayette, IN

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will care for laboring, antepartum, and triage patients in an acute care hospital on a 12-week contract in Lafayette, Indiana. The unit uses Cerner and follows AWHONN staffing guidance, with ratios around 1:1 in active labor and 1:2 when not in active labor. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor labor progress, fetal status, and maternal condition
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean births
• Provide triage, induction, antepartum, and postpartum care
• Manage IVs, medications, infusions, and obstetric drips
• Support newborn assessment, thermoregulation, and resuscitation
• Use fetal monitoring equipment and document care in Cerner

• Active Indiana Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and FHM
• 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Cerner charting experience
• Obstetric assessment and emergency response skills

• Charge nurse experience
• Community hospital experience
• LDRP or mother baby experience
• Amnioinfusion, VBAC, and assisted delivery experience
