Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Indianapolis, IN

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will care for labor and delivery patients in a hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana on a 13-week contract. The unit uses Cerner charting and serves adult obstetric patients in a high-acuity setting.

• Monitor labor progress and fetal heart patterns
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Support high-risk obstetric care and newborn transition
• Administer ordered medications and blood products
• Perform IV therapy, blood draws, and infusion management
• Provide postpartum assessments and recovery care

• Indiana Registered Nurse license
• 1.5 years of labor and delivery experience
• BLS, NRP, ACLS, and AWHONN Intermediate course
• AWHONN fetal monitoring or C-EFM
• Cerner experience
• Labor and delivery travel experience

• Antepartum and high-risk obstetric care
• Triage of obstetrical patients
• Breastfeeding support and baby-friendly protocols
• Teaching hospital or Trauma Level I experience
