Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Lafayette, IN

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will care for laboring, antepartum, and postpartum patients in an acute care hospital on a 12-week contract in Lafayette, Indiana. The unit uses Cerner and AWHONN-based ratios, often 1:1 in active labor and 1:2 for other patients; first-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor labor, fetal status, and maternal condition
• Assist with inductions, vaginal births, and cesarean deliveries
• Support triage, antepartum care, and postpartum recovery
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and blood products
• Use fetal monitoring equipment and document findings in Cerner
• Provide newborn assessment, thermoregulation, and breastfeeding support

• Indiana Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and FHM
• 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Cerner charting system experience
• Labor and delivery, high-risk obstetric, and fetal monitoring skills

• Charge experience
• Community hospital experience
• LDRP experience
