Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Medford, OR

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide obstetric and newborn care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Medford, Oregon. The 8-bed LDRP unit has two triage rooms, serves patients 36 weeks gestation and above, and uses Epic. First-time travelers are welcome, and the setting includes level 1 maternity and newborn care with cesarean support.

• Assess labor, antepartum, postpartum, GYN, and nursery patients
• Monitor fetal status and recognize abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
• Perform triage, sterile vaginal exams, and external fetal monitoring
• Assist with cesarean sections and circulating duties
• Support deliveries, postpartum recovery, and newborn care
• Coordinate care with ancillary services and the surgical team

• Registered Nurse license in Oregon
• AWHONN Intermediate certification
• BLS and NRP
• 2 years of labor and delivery experience
• Experience with triage, fetal monitoring, sterile vaginal exams, and cesarean support

• AWHONN Advanced certification
• STABLE certification
• Level I nursery experience
• Internal fetal monitoring and spiral electrode placement
