Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Liberal, KS

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care for laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients in a hospital labor and delivery unit on a 13 week contract in Liberal, Kansas. The unit supports inductions, cesarean births, antepartum care, and a level 2 special care nursery.

• Monitor labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn patients
• Support inductions, cesarean births, and gynecologic recovery care
• Assess fetal heart patterns and respond to changes in condition
• Provide care for antepartum, diabetic, and hypertensive patients
• Assist with newborn stabilization and transfer when needed
• Collaborate with OB/GYN, pediatric, and anesthesia teams

• Kansas Registered Nurse license or compact license
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP
• AWHONN Intermediate
• 2 years of labor and delivery experience
• Obstetric triage and external fetal monitoring skills

• AWHONN Advanced
• Circulating for cesarean section
• Previous charge experience
