Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Fredericksburg, VA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will care for laboring and delivery patients in a labor and delivery unit on a 13-week contract in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The unit has 10 LDR rooms, 3 triage spaces, 2 operating suites, uses Meditech, and typically cares for 2 laboring patients per nurse.

• Monitor labor progress and fetal status
• Assist with inductions, cesarean births, and vaginal deliveries
• Support triage assessment and admission planning
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered
• Coordinate care with providers during changes in maternal or fetal condition
• Prepare patients and rooms for labor, delivery, and recovery care

• Virginia Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• NRP certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Intermediate fetal monitoring
• ACLS certification
