Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Reston, VA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will support high-acuity obstetric care in an acute care hospital in Reston, Virginia on a 13-week contract. The unit includes 15 labor and delivery rooms, OB triage, antepartum rooms, and a Level III NICU, with Meditech and CPN charting.

• Assess laboring and antepartum patients
• Assist with cesarean deliveries and other obstetric procedures
• Administer and monitor IV medications and drips
• Monitor fetal status and respond to changes in condition
• Support circulating and scrub roles in the operating room
• Coordinate care with the obstetric team

• Virginia Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• High-acuity labor and delivery nursing skills
• Labor and delivery documentation experience

• Fast-paced labor and delivery experience
• Scrub role experience
• Circulating in the operating room experience
