Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Virginia

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care in a hospital labor and delivery unit on a 13-week contract in Richmond, Virginia. The unit includes 16 labor rooms, 3 operating rooms, 3 triage spaces and 3 recovery spaces, with AWHONN-based ratios and CPN and Meditech charting.

• Provide labor, delivery, recovery and triage nursing care
• Support antepartum patients and ongoing fetal monitoring
• Assist with circulating for C-section procedures
• Deliver immediate newborn care and breastfeeding support
• Coordinate care with hospitalist, midwife, anesthesia and neonatology teams
• Maintain accurate documentation in the charting system

• Virginia Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS and NRP
• Intermediate fetal heart monitoring within the previous 2 years
• Labor and delivery experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
