Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Reston, VA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide maternal and newborn care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Reston, Virginia. The unit includes 15 LDR rooms, OB triage, operating rooms, antepartum rooms, a PACU, a Level III NICU, and uses Meditech and CPN.

• Assess laboring and postpartum patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal status
• Assist with cesarean deliveries and obstetric procedures
• Administer and titrate IV medications, including magnesium
• Support triage, antepartum, and recovery care
• Document patient care and coordinate with the care team

• Virginia Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NRP certification
• Intermediate fetal heart rate monitoring certification
• Fast-paced labor and delivery experience

• Scrub role experience
• Operating room circulating experience
