Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Eureka, CA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care in a hospital labor and delivery unit on a 13-week contract in Eureka, California. The unit cares for high-risk obstetric patients, serves a culturally diverse population, and uses Epic. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor labor progress and fetal status
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Provide antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and blood products
• Support breastfeeding, newborn education, and discharge teaching
• Complete maternal and newborn assessments and respond to changes

• California Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• 1 year of labor and delivery experience
• Epic charting experience

• High-risk antepartum care
• Triage of obstetrical patients
