Travel Interventional Radiology Tech in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist will support vascular procedures in an imaging support unit in the operating room on a 42-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. The role uses Epic and requires active participation in the full case workflow in a teaching environment.

• Prepare cases and inventory in Epic
• Run table and controls during vascular procedures
• Perform 3D spins and support fusion technology
• Capture, process, and document images during cases
• Work closely with surgeons and procedural staff
• Support simple surgical imaging cases with a C-arm

• ARRT R certification
• Basic Life Support certification
• 2 years of interventional radiology experience
• Virginia radiologic technologist license or temporary eligibility with an active out-of-state license
• Endovascular interventions, EVAR, TEVAR, and upper and lower extremity angiography

• ARRT VI certification
• Hybrid OR experience
• Angioplasty, carotid stenting, thrombolysis, and thrombectomy
• Ultrasound and vascular closure systems experience
• Trauma Level I experience
