Travel Interventional Radiology Tech in Charlottesville, VA

An Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist will support vascular interventional cases in the hospital unit on a 26-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. The unit handles hybrid OR procedures in a teaching academic medical center with Epic charting.

• Prepare cases and organize supplies in Epic
• Run the table and controls during procedures
• Support imaging, filming, and post-processing
• Perform 3D spins and fusion imaging support
• Document supplies and inventory used during cases
• Collaborate with vascular surgeons and the procedural team
• Assist with simple fluoroscopy cases as needed

• ARRT R certification
• BLS certification
• 2 years of interventional radiology experience
• Virginia technologist license or temporary eligibility with out-of-state licensure

• ARRT VI certification
• Hybrid OR experience
• Angioplasty, carotid stenting, thrombolysis, and thrombectomy
• Vascular closure systems, ultrasound, and trauma level I experience
