Travel Interventional Radiology Tech in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist will assist with neuro interventional procedures in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. The unit supports pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, uses Epic, and functions as a stroke center.

• Assist with neuro interventional radiology procedures
• Prepare rooms, imaging tools, and sterile supplies for exams
• Support myelograms, lumbar punctures, arthrograms, and aspiration procedures
• Help with contrast administration and patient positioning
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during image-guided studies

• ARRT R certification
• BLS certification
• Virginia license, with another state license while Virginia licensure is pending
• Neuro interventional radiology experience
• Epic charting system experience
• PACS experience

• Advanced ARRT certification
• Paracentesis experience
• Thoracentesis experience
• Teaching hospital or Trauma Level I experience
