Travel Interventional Radiology Tech in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist will support vascular IR cases in the operating room on a 13-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. Epic charting and hybrid operating room work are part of the setting, with the role focused on active involvement across the case workflow.

• Prepare case supplies and review procedural needs
• Run the table and imaging controls during vascular IR cases
• Perform 3D spins and support fusion imaging
• Capture, film and post-process procedural images
• Document case inventory and procedure details
• Collaborate with surgeons and the procedural team
• Assist with simple C-arm cases when needed

• Virginia radiologic technologist license, pending acceptable with an active out-of-state license
• ARRT VI certification
• BLS certification
• 2 years of interventional radiology experience
• Endovascular interventions, EVAR, TEVAR, and upper and lower extremity angiography experience

• Angioplasty, carotid stenting, thrombolysis and thrombectomy experience
• Hybrid operating room and trauma level I experience
• Prep access site and vascular closure systems experience
• Siemens imaging system familiarity
