Travel Interventional Radiology Tech in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist will assist with neuro interventional radiology procedures in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. The unit is a stroke center with pediatric through geriatric patients and uses Epic.

• Assist with neuro interventional radiology procedures
• Support myelograms, lumbar punctures, arthrograms and aspirations
• Prepare and position patients for image-guided procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and procedural room readiness
• Monitor patient safety and assist the care team during interventions
• Provide coverage support for urgent cases as needed

• ARRT Radiography certification
• Basic Life Support certification
• Virginia radiologic technologist license, or another state license while Virginia licensure is pending
• Neuro interventional radiology experience
• Epic charting system experience

• ARRT advanced certification
• Paracentesis and thoracentesis experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Trauma Level I experience
