Travel Interventional Radiology Tech in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist will work in imaging support in the operating room on vascular IR cases for a 13-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. The unit uses Epic charting and is part of a teaching academic environment.

• Prepare inventory and case supplies before procedures
• Run the table and controls during vascular IR cases
• Perform 3D spins and fusion imaging support
• Document case activity and inventory in the unit system
• Collaborate with vascular surgeons and the procedural team
• Support additional fluoroscopy cases with the C-arm

• ARRT R certification
• BLS certification
• Virginia license, with current out-of-state licensure accepted for temporary eligibility
• 2 years of interventional radiology or vascular experience
• Endovascular interventions, EVAR, TEVAR, and upper and lower extremity angiography experience

• ARRT VI certification
• Hybrid OR experience with angioplasty, carotid stenting, thrombolysis, thrombectomy, and vascular closure systems
• Siemens and ultrasound experience
• Trauma Level I experience
